SilkyRain Terms Of Payment

Welcome to SilkyRain (silkyrain.com). These Terms Of Payment outline the acceptable payment methods, billing practices, currency policies, and related terms for purchases made on our website, applicable to customers in the United States and Canada. By completing a purchase on SilkyRain, you acknowledge and agree to the following payment terms and conditions.

1. Acceptable Payment Methods

SilkyRain accepts the following secure payment methods for orders shipped to the United States and Canada:
  • Major Credit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
  • Debit Cards: Visa Debit and Mastercard Debit (must be enabled for international/online transactions).
  • Digital Payment Platforms: PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay (availability may vary by region; please check at checkout).
All payments must be made in full at the time of placing your order. We do not accept cash on delivery (COD), checks, money orders, or bank transfers as payment methods.

2. Currency & Pricing

  • United States Customers: All product prices, shipping costs, and applicable taxes are displayed and charged in U.S. Dollars (USD).
  • Canada Customers: All product prices, shipping costs, and applicable taxes are displayed and charged in Canadian Dollars (CAD) at checkout. Currency conversion (if applicable) is handled by your payment provider, and SilkyRain is not responsible for any conversion fees or rate fluctuations imposed by your bank or credit card issuer.
Product prices on SilkyRain are subject to change without prior notice. However, the price charged to your payment method will be the price displayed at the time you complete your order (provided the product is in stock and available for purchase).

3. Billing & Authorization

When you place an order, we will initiate a pre-authorization hold on your payment method for the full order amount (including product costs, shipping fees, and applicable taxes) to verify that sufficient funds or credit are available. This pre-authorization is not a charge but a temporary hold that will be either finalized (converted to a charge) once your order is processed and shipped, or released if the order is cancelled, rejected, or unavailable.
You authorize SilkyRain to charge your selected payment method for the full order amount upon successful verification of your payment details and order confirmation. If the pre-authorization is declined, your order will not be processed, and you will need to provide an alternative valid payment method to complete your purchase.

4. Taxes & Duties

  • United States Customers: Applicable sales tax will be calculated based on the shipping address provided at checkout (in compliance with state and local tax laws). Sales tax is non-refundable unless the order is returned and eligible for a full refund (excluding original shipping costs, where applicable).
  • Canada Customers: Applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST), Harmonized Sales Tax (HST), or Provincial Sales Tax (PST) will be calculated based on the shipping address provided at checkout (in compliance with Canadian federal and provincial tax laws). For cross-border shipments, any additional customs duties or fees are the sole responsibility of the customer (see our Shipping Policy for more details) and are not included in the order total charged by SilkyRain.
Tax amounts are estimated at checkout and may be adjusted slightly to comply with exact tax regulations. Any adjustments will be reflected in the final charge to your payment method.

5. Payment Security

SilkyRain prioritizes the security of your payment information. We use industry-standard encryption technology (SSL/TLS) to protect your personal and payment details during transmission. We do not store your full credit card information on our servers; all payment data is securely processed and stored by our trusted third-party payment processors (e.g., PayPal, Stripe), which are compliant with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) requirements.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your payment account credentials (e.g., credit card details, PayPal login information). SilkyRain will not be liable for any unauthorized charges or fraudulent transactions made using your payment method if you fail to keep your credentials secure.

6. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

If you have a dispute regarding a charge from SilkyRain, please contact our customer service team at service@gfavora.com before initiating a chargeback with your payment provider. We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly (e.g., processing a refund for eligible returns, correcting billing errors).
Unauthorized chargebacks (i.e., chargebacks filed without first attempting to resolve the issue with SilkyRain) may result in your account being suspended or restricted from future purchases. If a chargeback is filed against SilkyRain, we reserve the right to provide evidence (e.g., order confirmation, shipping records) to your payment provider to defend the charge. If the chargeback is reversed in our favor, you will be responsible for the original order amount plus any fees incurred by SilkyRain related to the chargeback (e.g., bank fees, administrative costs).

7. Order Cancellations & Refunds

If you wish to cancel your order before it is processed and shipped, please contact our customer service team immediately. If the order is successfully cancelled before processing, the pre-authorization hold on your payment method will be released, and no charge will be made. If the order has already been processed or shipped, you will need to follow our Return Policy to initiate a return and request a refund (if eligible).
Refunds for eligible returns will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase (see our Return Policy for details on refund processing times and eligibility). Refunds will include the product cost and applicable taxes (if any) but may exclude original shipping costs and return shipping costs (depending on the reason for the return).

8. Invalid Payments & Failed Transactions

SilkyRain reserves the right to cancel any order if the payment is deemed invalid, fraudulent, or if the transaction fails (e.g., insufficient funds, expired card, payment blocked by fraud detection systems). If your order is cancelled due to payment issues, we will notify you via email and request alternative payment information if you wish to reprocess the order.
We are not responsible for delays in order processing or cancellations caused by payment issues outside of our control (e.g., bank outages, payment provider errors). You may need to contact your bank or payment provider to resolve such issues.
